What is Viral Dollars about?
Viral Dollars is a website recently launched in 2018 to help social media users make lots of money by referring people to the site through social media and by doing various other tasks. Viral Dollars is free to join. After I joined I had access to the dashboard as you can see in the screenshot image below.
One of the first things you see is your affiliate referral link. The next thing was how much I had earned. All I did was sign up and I see $25 in my account.
Here are the various whys to earn money with Viral Dollars:

Get clicks to Viral Dollars affiliate linkReferring your friend is the main focus of Viral Dollars. After you create your free account you will be given an affiliate link to promote Viral Dollars. For every click, your affiliate link gets you will receive $2. When someone you referred signs up you receive $10.

- Download suggested Viral Dollar apps
- Complete surveys
- Create YouTube videos about Viral Dollars-You get paid $50 to create a youtube video review about Viral Dollars. They tell you what to put in the title and description. In the description, you write there is a limited time to sign up and receive a $25 sign up bonus. They also supply you with a bunch of keywords/tags for example:
- teen online jobs
- Make money as a teen
- social media money
- ways to make money
- money hacks, etc
Things I Don’t like about Viral Dollars
Viral Dollars is free to sign up. After I signed up I saw $25 in my account which is a signup bonus. Just like anyone else I want my $25 so I tried to cash out. Viral Dollars would not let me cash out. I don’t understand how Viral Dollars can pay me $25 for signing up and also pay the affiliate that referred me $10. It doesn’t sound right, does it?
I got this pop up which I have a screenshot of below.
As you can see from the image above you will need to meet the requirements before you get paid the first time. So 20 clicks times $2 adds up to $40. Five referrals is $50 and the task wall tasks add up to $120. Total is $210 you need to earn before you can request a payout.
As I have mentioned before Viral Dollars have not been on the scene long but they call themselves the #1 influencer network. On the website, they show these stats which I have the screenshot for you.
I find this to be very suspicious. Here is why. This website was founded in 2018 and they have paid out 60 million dollars? That alone is a red flag blowing hard in the wind.
Another red flag. In the members’ area when I click “get clicks” task button to learn about earning $2 for clicks… it took me to my referral link and it stated that I will earn $5 for every friend that clicks it and $10 for every friend that signs up.
Now, which one is it? Will you earn $2 for clicks or $5 for clicks? Either way, it’s a lot of money for CPA marketing (cost per action).
When you click “download apps” on the dashboard you will be taken to the dashboard. This is where you will earn $30 for completing these tasks. But as you can see in the above image it says “download apps earn $10.”
This just another red flag also. Can you see the discrepancies as I can?
From what I can see Viral apps is getting paid to send people to these various advertisers. The advertisers have different offers for you and want your information to be able to bombard you with a bunch of offers in the future.
The Leader Board
Below is a screenshot of the Leader Board taken from the website. It claims people have made millions using Viral Dollars. The website is not that old. How did all these people make millions of dollars in just a short amount of time?
Who is Behind Viral Dollars?
No one knows who is behind Viral Dollars. I can’t find a name anywhere. I find that strange since they suppose to be the #1 Influencer Network. If that is the case there should be a lot of information about the creator and the company itself on social media
Conclusion
Is Viral Dollars a scam? I will let you be the judge of that. But I recommend that you do not waste your precious time with Viral Dollars. As I researched this website I found that it is a rehashed version of another site called Viral Pay.
But whether it is a scam or not, it is not easy to make money just by placing your affiliate link here and there. I see people doing that all the time and it is a form of spamming. People don’t join people they don’t know through a random link. So you will find it difficult to get people to sign up.
