There are many GTP (get paid to) sites online. Some are legit, some are not. This is why I write reviews. I want you to be able to make an educated decision before you sign up.
With that said let’s see what Squishy Cash is all about.
But wait if you want to learn how to build a successful online business check out my #1 recommendation.
Name: Squishy Cash
Website: www.squishycash.com
Owner: Carolyn Berg
Type of Business: GPT (get paid to)
What is Squishy Cash?
Squishy Cash was established in 2007 by Carolyn Berg. It is free to join GPT (get paid to) website that rewards you for completing tasks, surveys, offers and signing up new members. There is no age limit to join and the site is international. Squishy Cash has a good reputation as a GPT website.
How does it work?
First of all, you must register. You will provide your name and email address and also your mailing address.
After you complete the registration the site will add $3 and 5 chips to your account. One chip is worth $.01 and can be used to play Squishy slots.
You also get paid in either chips or cash for completing tasks on the site. On the right side of the site, you will see what the task is worth in chips and cash before you complete it.
You can only have one account per household.
Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox should be used when you are completing offers on the website because you want to be sure you get credited accurately. Make sure your browser is set up to accept cookies. Clear your cookies every time you start a new offer.
United States residents are required to file a W-9 form with the site if you have earned over $500 in cash and prizes with a year. If you are not a U.S. resident then you don’t have to worry about filing a W-9 form.
There are other countries that require you to file a 1099-K form if you earned over $500 in cash or prizes within the year and was paid via PayPal or some other electronic transaction.
Check the tax laws in the country you live in to see if it applies to you.
Ways to Make Money on Squishy Cash
Surveys
Squishy Cash is associated with other survey sites that it recommends to its members. You would have to register for each of those sites separately. Those survey sites also have a referral program. Squishy Cash makes money when people join these survey websites.
There are some survey sites that are known to be “harvesting” sites. That means the sole purpose of these sites is to collect your personal information and sell it to third parties.
As you can see in the screenshot below, the average pay for completing surveys is $0.30. That is low compared to other survey sites. Below is a list of websites that have good reputation and are known for paying their members. You will not get rich doing simple tasks online but you could earn a few dollars for pocket money.
Suggested websites are:
Offers
There are many free trial offers on the earn menu option. These offers are from companies Squishy Cash is affiliated with. If you sign up for the free offers don’t forget to cancel before the trial period ends or you will be charged.
Signing up for free offers is not a good way to make money.
Click ads
You can earn money by just clicking ads. The pay is about $0.0012 per click, which is typical on paid to click websites.
Affiliate Program
Squishy Cash has a unique affiliate program. It reminds me of a multi-level marketing program. You earn $1 when someone joins the site through your referral link. You also get paid 25% of whatever they earn on the site.
But does not stop there. You can earn up to 4 levels down as follows:
- Earn 25% of your referrals earnings
- Earn 5% the peoples earnings your referrals refer
- Earn 2% of the next level of referrals
- Earn 1% of the 4th and 5th level of referrals
You can also pay to upgrade for a chance to have your account be the referrer to those members who don’t have one.
- Squishy slots are similar to the lottery. You need 5 chips to spin and have a chance to win prizes. You can win up to $100.
Pros
- Free to join
- Active since 2007
- Unique Affiliate program
- International
- Pays cash
Cons
- Will not provide a full-time income
- Cash-out limit is high compared to other GPT sites.
- The forum has been inactive for a while now.
HOW TO GET PAID?
The minimum cash out is $15. It might be hard to reach that amount because of the limited available offers and the amounts they pay. You have your choice of getting paid through PayPal, check Direct deposit, Amazon, Skrill, or Dwolla.
Is Squishy Cash a Scam?
No, it is definitely not a scam. If you spend enough time on it you could make pocket change. You have to decide if it is worth your time. Plus if you have a following on social media you could promote the site there and make money off of other people’s efforts.
I am a firm believer in not putting all your eggs in one basket. If you choose to make money doing surveys I suggest you sign up with more than one reputable survey site. Like the sites, I have listed above.
Conclusion
I am not a big fan of survey sites. There are many ways to make money online and doing surveys is not on the top of my list. I make money using affiliate marketing.
If you want to learn how to build a successful online business using affiliate marketing, check out my #1 recommendation.
It is an online training platform called Wealthy Affiliate that is free to try.
I hope you found value in this review.
