Welcome to my PrizeRebel review. I applaud you for doing your homework. There are so many websites that claim to pay you for doing things online. It is hard to know what is legit and what is not. This is why I write reviews. I want you to be able to make an informed decision before you invest your precious time.

With this said… let’s see if PrizeRebel is a scam or not.

If you want to learn how to make a full time living online check out my #1 recommendation.

What is PrizeRebel?

PrizeRebel has been in existence since 2007, is based in San Diego, California and has over 9 million members.

The founders say, as members, they were tired of dealing with survey sites and GPT companies that took long to process their rewards and had poor customer service. Because of that frustration, PrizeRebel was created.`

Signing up with PrizeRebel is very simple and free. The first thing you need to do is to sign up you can do it with your email address or just sign up with your Facebook account. I suggest you sign up with an email account dedicated to PrizeRebel because you will get emails from sponsors.

PrizeRebel is a GPT (get paid to) site where you earn points doing various tasks.

Tasks consist of:

  • Downloading smartphone or tablet apps.
  • Signing up for product trials or services.
  • Taking surveys
  • Referring other people
  • Filling in your profile
  • Liking a facebook page
  • Taking a tour
  • Watching videos

Who is PrizeRebel for?

PrizeRebel is open to people in every country that are 18 years of age or older.  Users ages 13-18 can use the website with parental permission. Members who live in the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia will have more opportunities of receiving surveys and offers.

PrizeRebel is good for people who have some extra time to kill and want to make some extra pocket change doing things you probably already do on the internet. You can earn a few dollars in a short amount of time.

Don’t expect to be able to pay any major bills using PrizeRebel. If you do you will be disappointed

How do you get paid with PrizeRebel?

PrizeRebel reward system is based on points. You need a minimum of 200 points which equals $2, to cash out and your reward is processed within 24 hours.

Is PrizeRebel a Scam?

PrizeRebel is a legit company. It has paid users over 16 million in cash and rewards since 2007.

You can’t please all the people all the time. There are people that have complaints about this company shutting their accounts down. But that does not mean it is a scam.

You can make the most money trying free trials if you choose to do so. But you have to remember to cancel before the trial is up or your credit card could be charged for more than you expect. This is where being organized comes into play.

When it comes to taking surveys make sure to give truthful answers and be consistent with your answers. Your answers are being monitored to see if your answers coincide with each other.

Read all the questions carefully before answering. Don’t go fast with the surveys. If you are doing the survey fast you could make mistakes and this can disqualify you.

You will come across surveys that you will not qualify for. And you can get halfway through it before you know it. But you can still earn a few points for participating in the survey so your efforts are not totally wasted.

PrizeRebel acts as a middleman between you and advertisers. These advertisers will send offers for you to buy or click on that will make them money. This is all part of the game. So you should have a separate email address of this. You don’t want to miss a chance of earning money.

Is PrizeRebel Worth it?

You will not be able to make a part-time living do tasks with PrizeRebel or any other rewards site. You can expect to earn anywhere between $5 -$50 a month by doing simple tasks in your spare time.

The referral program could be very lucrative if you can promote PrizeRebel on a regular basis to a large audience. If you have a blog or a youtube channel with followers you can promote PrizeRebel to your audience.

You can make up to 30% points of whatever your referral earns for life. You will only earn points if your referral is earning points.

There are people making $1000 a month promoting the referral program.

I am a firm believer in having multiple streams of income. If you think that is a smart way to make money check out the reputable websites below also:
