What is Appcoiner?

According to the sales page AppCoiner is a website that acts as a middleman for you and the application developers. New apps are coming on the scene every day. People like to read reviews about new apps before they download them. This is where you come in.

AppCoiner claims you can make money by testing and writing reviews for these new apps. All you need for this is a smartphone or a tablet and you are ready to rake in the money.
There are legit sites that you can join for free. You download an app, answer a few questions and write a review. After that, you get paid. Sites such as:

https://www.usertesting.com
https://testerwork.com/
https://www.userlytics.com
https://ferpection.com/en/testers/

With AppCoiner they claim you make money in 3 easy steps:

  • Choose an app
  • Write a review
  • Get paid.

They make it sound so simple. But they don’t state on the sales page that it will cost you money to join. The first thing they want is your email. Once they get your email they will send you more offers especially if you don’t sign up for this one.

And what they also fail to tell you is that you are going to have to create a website, put app reviews on that site and make money with affiliate links.

How does Appcoiner Work?

First of all, you will need to create a ClickBank account and get your affiliate link. Clickbank is an affiliate program that is free to join. Appcoiner is one of the products promoted on Clickbank.

There is a list of apps for you to choose from to download, test and write a review for.

Next, you will go to your website, which has a subdomain that is hosted on PopularReview.com. There is a list of apps for you to choose from to download, test and write a review for them and attach your affiliate link.

This is risky because it is not your own website. If Appcoiner shuts down you lose everything.

Below is a screenshot of what your website would look like.

Then check how much money you made every day. Appcoiner is deceptive how you will get paid. You get paid by clicking your affiliate links. But on the sales page, they have a calculator showing you how much money you can make per review. This is very misleading. This is an affiliate marketing model of doing business. You are not being paid when you write a review. So from what I can see this is not a simple job of testing, writing and getting paid as they make seem.

Now what I want to know is…How do you get traffic to the website? You need a lot of people to click your affiliate links, download and buy them.

Getting Traffic

First of all. you get a subdomain website. Subdomains. like the one Appcoiner gives you. are hard to rank in the search engines.

In order to get organic (free) traffic from the search engines, you must have a lot of content to be considered an authority. As your website grows the search will index your site and over time you will get visitors.
Appcoiner does not train you on how to get traffic to your site. You can also pay for traffic but that is another expense. It is not something I suggest you do because you can run through your money real quick if you don’t know what you are doing.

Pros:

  • 60-day money back guarantee
  • anyone can join

Cons:

  • Misleading information
  • Pay to join
  • knowledge of marketing and SEO is required
  • You have no control over the site.

Is Appcoiner a Scam?

Some people may call it a scam because they give misleading information on the sales page. And before you can find out how much it costs they want your email. You don’t know what they are doing with your email. They could be selling it to other companies that want to sell you “make money online products.” Don’t be surprised if your inbox gets flooded with offers.

You can make money testing apps and websites without paying upfront. Check out the list of websites above for a better option.
