Product type: referral program

What is Emotepay?
Emotepay is supposed to be the only influencer network that pays you high rates for doing simple tasks and sharing your referral link on social media. Tasks include:
- $25 for signing up
- $10 for everyone you refer
- $2 for every click to your referral link
- $30 for tasks on the task wall
- Complete surveys
- Downloading apps
- $50 for creating a YouTube video promoting Emotepay
- $50 to add a link to your Instagram profile
In order to get cash out, you will have to accumulate $200 and have a certain number of tasks done. When you sign up you get a $25 bonus. That looks good in your account.
Emotepay is free to join. Most people feel they are not losing anything and hope they will eventually gain. That is an incentive to keep doing tasks.
Emote claims to have been in existence since July 19, 2019. It has acquired over 500,000 active users and has paid out thousands of dollars. They claim many users are earning a steady income.
When I looked up the domain information I found that Emotepay.co was registered on 8-31-2019. That is a very short time to have acquired so many active users. It makes me wonder about that. Especially when the owner of this is site is unknown.
There are many websites that are similar to Emotepay where are the owner is unknown. This enables them to create one website after another without being detected.
This is a red flag blowing hard in the wind.
Where do they get the money to pay you?
They claim to get the money from advertisers but the money does not add up. The amounts they pay out are exorbitant. Let’s look at the numbers. If they have only been in business since July and have 500,000 active users, the payout would add up to millions of dollars, not thousands based on the pay for each task.
Is Emotepay a Scam?
I will let you be the judge of that. I have reviewed many websites that claim you can make money with. And I have reviewed sites like Emotepay. Such as Cashog and KashTree.
There are legit websites that pay you to do to simple tasks like for instance Swagbucks.
Emotepay has a reputation for being a harvesting website. Which means, it is all about getting your information and profiting from it. They can take your email and various other information and sell it to other companies. Your information is valuable. Don’t be surprised if you sign up and start getting a bunch of spam in your inbox.
You need to also be aware of another thing. Some people use the same email and password across the board on the internet. If you signed up using the same email and password as you do with PayPal or some other financial institutions, change it immediately.
Your financial information could be at risk.
It has been said that EmotePay does not pay its members. Well, they do have the right to refuse payment if they think you have fraudulent activity. It’s up to their discretion. That’s very convenient on their part.
They offer $30 to complete tasks. Many of the tasks have their affiliate links. They get paid when you click them or do the tasks. This is called affiliate marking. There is nothing wrong with affiliate marketing. People make a good living with it. But it is not good when you don’t pay your members.
If you want to earn money doing simple tasks online check out the websites below. These websites do not claim to pay a lot of money. They are a resource for earning a little extra cash. They are free to join.
Conclusion
There are so many websites that claim you can make money with. Many of them just tell you what you want to hear to get you to sign up. The claims of how much money you will make in a short amount of time are bogus. When you see claims like that, run like the wind.
