eJury.com Review- Is eJury A Scam?

Posted on July 17, 2021August 9, 2021 by Loretta

Welcome to my eJury.com review. There are so many websites that claim to help you make money online. Some are legit, most are not. If you are new to how making money online works, it could be hard to tell the difference. This is why I write reviews. I know your time is precious and you don’t want to waste it. I want you to be able to make an educated decision.

With that said let’s see if you can make money with eJury.

But wait if you want to learn how to make a full-time income online check out my #1 recommendation.

\

What is eJury.com?

eJury.com is a website that provides mock juries to help lawyers try cases before they go to court.

It was founded by a trial attorney named Christopher L. Bagby and began operations in November 1999.

According to the website,‘eJury has quickly become a leader in online mock jury and focus group research, handling hundreds of cases for attorneys across the southwest and now serving attorneys nationwide.’

A mock jury consists of a group of average people who hear both sides of the case from the defense and the prosecution.

Usually, the jury consists of 50 people. At the end of the case, they answer questions and give a verdict.

This is beneficial to a lawyer or law firm because it saves time and money.

Lawyers get an idea about the case. They get to learn how strong or how weak their case is before going to trial. They are better able to instruct their clients better and learn how they should go forward with the case in the future.

eJury will pay you $5 to $10 to review legal cases that they estimate will require between 30 minutes and an hour of time.
Here is a sample of a mock trial.

Qualifications:

In order to serve as an eJuror, you have to meet the following qualifications:

  • You must be 18+ years of age.
  • You must be a U.S. Citizen
  • You must read and write English fluently.
  • You must be of sound mind and good moral character
  • And never been convicted of a felony or currently charged with a crime
  • You must not be an actively practicing attorney, paralegal or work for a law firm or insurance adjuster

In order to apply for eJuror, you have to complete the Oath on the website. The next step is to complete your identity verification and then you have to complete your demographic profile.

Once you’ve completed everything, just click submit. eJury will contact you via email if you are accepted to be part of their eJurors.

How does eJury work?

According to the website, there are no guarantees that you will get a case after you sign up. But if you do, you don’t have to worry about checking the website all the time.  You will get an email about a trial and a deadline.

When you get this email I suggest you jump on it because usually when they get to about 50 jurors the trial closes. After you log in you get access to a 6 page summary of the case. It should take about 45 minutes to read.

And then you answer the questions and submit them. There are no right or wrong answers. You are mainly giving your opinion on the case.

eJury.com pays $5-$10 via pay pal once a week. The amount you receive for a successfully submitted verdict depends on the length of the case. The amount to be paid is shown at the top of each case.

The process is very simple but you have to do a lot of reading. When I read the sample mock trial I had to read it once. Then I read the questions. After that, I read the case again just to get a full understanding of the case before answering the questions.

If you are into law this could be very interesting to you. But if you are not into reading and law you may not find this is for you. If that is the case check out these websites below.
Below are reputable websites that pay you to do simple online tasks that you probably already do anyway.

  • Rakuten
  • Freecash.com
  • Swagbucks
  • Inbox dollars
  • Prizerebel
  • Honeygain
  • Ysense
  • Squishycash
  • Gifthunter Club

Pros:

  • Free to join. You don’t have to pay for anything when you apply.
  • Get paid in cash via PayPal.
  • You feel like your opinion counts and you are making a difference.

Cons:

  • eJury is not available outside the United States.
  • There are not many cases available. This is the complaint that I frequently see online. And the website states there is no guarantee that you will get work. In large cities like Texas, where eJury started, the cases average one per week and even less in other parts of the country.
  • And also the cases you get are based on your demographic profile. You may be lucky or not to get a decent amount of cases.

Is eJury.com Legit?

Yes, eJury is legit. It has been in business for over 20 years. It could be a source of some extra pocket money but that is all. And that depends on your location. If you thought that this could be a life-changing, bill-paying gig… don’t hold your breath.

Below are reviews I found about Ejury.com

I suggest you give it a try. See what happens. You may have a more favorable experience.
