Product name: EarnBucks
Website URL: earnbucks.co
Price: Free to join
What is EarnBucks.co?
EarnBucks.co claims to be the #1 Influencer network that helps its members make money by doing simple tasks and referring people to the website using social media. The website claims you will earn $25 just for signing up. Now, remember it does not cost anything to join.
Once you become a member you get access to your unique referral link and the task wall.
So let’s take a look at how you earn money with Earnbucks.co. Well signing up is one way. After you sign up you have access to your referral link.
Every time someone clicks your referral link you earn $2. When someone joins through your referral link you earn $10. If someone downloads apps you earn $20 and when they complete surveys you earn $30.
According to the website, this is how you can make $500 today.
This sounds too good to be true. And you know what they say about things that sound too good to be true.
So let’s look at this for a moment. It seems as if you would get paid a lot of money for doing next to nothing.
Where does Earnbucks.co getting the money to pay its members? It does not have products to sell on the website. There is no cost to join. There are no advertisements on the website.
So where is the money coming from?
How does Earnbucks.co really work?
Well to tell you the truth, Earnbucks.co is designed to benefit the owner. Whoever that is. Nobody knows. But if this website was truly the “#1 Influencer Network”, I would think the owner would be an open book. People who have shady websites don’t want to be associated with them.
Earnbucks.co and other websites like it, do not pay their members. If you think you can just sign up and cash out the $25 sign up bonus, think again. There are cash-out requirements you must meet first. This is designed to keep you working with the hope of being able to cash out.
The owner is the only one making money here. Every time someone downloads an app or completes a survey the owner gets paid a commission. It’s not much. But when people inviting other people to join the commissions add up.
The owner also makes money by selling your information to a third party. Your name, email address, etc, is valuable. Other people would like to spam you with make-money-online offers.
Earnbucks.co is known for data harvesting and surveillance capitalism.
This website reminds me of similar websites I have reviewed in the past. They come and go with a quickness.
Fake Startup Date
On the ‘About us’ page, Earnbucks claims to have started on March 15 and has become the ‘#1 Influencer Network’ in under 10 years. Well, you can’t believe everything you read.
Because according to Whois.com earnbucks.co was registered on 12/9/19. The site is not even a year old at the time of this review.
Fake Proof of Payments
Earnbucks wants you to believe that this is a legit opportunity to make money and other people are getting paid. So it shows you images of ‘proof of payment’. Like the one below.
But what does this really prove? It doesn’t prove anything to me because the date of payment is August 2019. How can someone receive payment from a website that did not exist at that time?
Terms and Conditions
Every website must have a ‘terms and conditions’ page on it. To not have it is illegal. Well, on earnbucks.co terms and conditions page, it stats that you have to be ninety-nine years of age or older to use the site.
Check out the screenshot below.
So if you are under the age of 99 you can not use this website, features, or services. How many 99-year-olds do you know that would use this website? This is utter nonsense. Does this give them a license not to pay people?
There are Get-Paid-to websites that are known for actually paying their members. They do not claim to pay you enough to make you rich. These websites are sources for some extra pocket money and are reputable.
What have we learned?
I suggest that you stay away from this website. We don’t know who is behind it. There is misleading information about when it started. The payment proofs don’t coincide with the start update.
You could be a victim fraud if someone uses your personal information ie. email address and/or password. Some people use the same personal information on every website because it is easier to remember. And scammers know this.
We also know that we are not going to get paid outrageous amounts of money for doing next to nothing. That is not how it works on the internet or anywhere else.
If you still want to make a few dollars online doing things you probably do anyway, check out the alternative websites above.
If you want to learn how to build your own online business check out my #1 recommendation.
It is an online training platform called Wealthy Affiliate. Wealthy Affiliate will teach you how to build a successful online business utilizing affiliate marketing.
Do you have any hobbies/interests? Did you know there are many people with the same hobbies/interests you have? When they have a problem they go online to find the solution. Your website could be a problem solver. Your website could be the ‘go-to’ site that helps them and you make money while doing so.
Wealthy Affiliate has everything you need under one roof to be successful. There is a dedicated community of like-minded people there to help 24/7 including the owners.
I hope you found value in this review. I wish you the best in whatever you decide to do.
