Welcome to my Laundry Care Review. I congratulate you on doing your homework. There are so many ways to make money from home. Some ways are better than others. Sometimes it depends on what your circumstances are to know if something is right for you or not. This is why I rewrite reviews. I want you to be able to make an educated decision before you move forward. Your time is precious.
With that said let’s see if you can make money with Laundry Care.
But wait… if you want to learn how to build a successful online business check out my #1 recommendation.
Do you love to do laundry? Did you know you could make money doing people’s laundry? In today’s fast-paced world people don’t have enough hours in a day to do the things they like to do.
And for most people, laundry is not a favorite task on their list of things to do. But, it must get done. They know it and there are people willing to pay someone else to do it for them. This is where you come in. You are ready, willing and able to provide a service that you love to do anyway and get paid.
But how do you find these people that will gladly pay for your services? Do you just go around town knocking on doors? Do you put flyers on every car and post them at every laundromat? These are things you need to consider when starting this type of service business.
You also have to think about whether or not if you will use your own washer and dryer or go to a laundromat. Will the customers bring their laundry to you or will you pick it up and deliver? You need to have a car if you are going to pick up and deliver.
You could provide this service as a freelancer or you could partner with a website called Laundry Care.
What is Laundry Care.biz?
LaundryCare.biz was started in 2009. It is a website that connects clients with providers in their area. You would not have to worry about the details of starting a laundry business from scratch. They handle most of the daunting details for you.
If you were to try to build this business yourself, you have to be concerned with building a website, creating marketing material, getting clients, sending out invoices, how to get payments, etc.
If you work with Laundry Care you don’t have to be concerned with those things. All you have to do is pay a one time fee of $30 and the company will send you a bag of start-up laundry supplies. Your main job is to pick up the laundry from the clients, wash and dry it, and bring it back to the client.
What are the requirements to partner with Laundry Care?
There are requirements with almost every job/opportunity and Laundry Care is no exception. In order to partner with Laundry Care you need to have the basic requirements:
- Love doing laundry. This is a no brainer
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a clean background
- Be available in the daytime
- Have a washing machine and dryer.
- Reliable transportation
- Have a smartphone
- And internet access
When you sign up with Laundry Care, you are required to purchase a supply kit which cost $39.99 (taxes and shipping included).
The supply kit includes:
- 5 reusable nylon bags
- A starter pack of clear plastic garment bags
- A starter pack of bag tags
- A hanging scale for weighing the laundry
Keep in mind that the supply kit will not be your only cost. You will be responsible for the expenses you will incur with running this service business. For example, laundry products, gas and utility bills. Working as an independent contractor, some of these expenses are tax-deductible. Check with a tax professional that has experience doing taxes for independent contractors.
How much money can I make with Laundry Care?
You can make up to $500 or more a week with Laundry Care. It depends on you and how much effort you put into it.
Clients pay $35 for one bag of laundry. The bags are as big as a 13-gallon kitchen trash bag which holds 2-3 loads of laundry. You, as a provider, would make around $20 per bag.
Laundry Care offers extra options, for example, ironing, and cleaning non-clothes items such as comforters.
Laundry Care will pay you 60% of the client’s invoice.
If you want to apply go here to start the application process. You will have to pass the application process and complete a video interview that will be reviewed by the human resource team.
If you like to do laundry you might as well make money doing it. It is something that can be done while doing other things around the house. But just like with any other service business, you are trading hours for dollars. There is nothing wrong with that, but the minute you stop, or are not capable of doing laundry… the money stops.
I think making money by doing laundry is good for the short term. Or for some extra spending money while doing something else.
